A Funeral is more than the final farewell of a loved one, it is also the celebration of their life.

I truly believe that a funeral is for the living, it enables the bereaved to say goodbye with dignity and allows the deceased’s family and friends to move forward with a dignified farewell.

I pride myself on working closely with families to ensure that the essence of the person is understood, enabling differing personality traits to be recognised and incorporated into the service. I am honoured to learn the history of the person, what they have witnessed and lived through, all of which makes them the individual that they were.

No two people are the same and nor are any two funerals. In consultation with family members each service is designed as an individual testament of who the person was.

I am familiar with both cremation and burial services and am also comfortable incorporating religious components into a service.

I have worked closely with some of Melbourne’s leading Funeral Homes and understand the type of communication required between the Celebrant and the Funeral Arranger.

I am more than happy to assist with choosing Readings and Music and am a firm believer that a funeral does not have to be a sombre affair if, that is what you or your family require. Often it is appropriate to play music your loved one enjoyed and was known for, and to use poetry that epitomises the person they were.

I have included some poetry and readings as a small example of those most commonly chosen. Feel free to peruse these and any others you may wish to consider I am available to discuss your needs with you, and of course this comes with no obligation.
